I did this drawing for a friend of mine a few years ago. I did all the pen & ink, and decided to to a "study in greyscale" with markers. I realize that this is only about 80% done in this photo, but I gave the finished product to my friend, so I don't have it anymore. Basically the banner the birds are holding had text in it, and there were some more background textures added. Now looking at it, I wish I had done it in color. And if you notice - this is the first drawing of the birds which were refined and colored to become my tattoo.
