I designed the invitiations for my wedding back in Sept. 2004. The invitation is a 4" x 6" card which opened vertically, printed wih a matte finish on a cream colored paper with little flecks and ridges for texture. I did the original drawing in colored pencils. I liked the celtic knotwork, and it translated well because we got married in a place that looked like a small medieval castle in the suburbs (the Merion Tribute House). My bridesmaids wore dresses in that deep red color too, so we had a whole theme going. :) Click on the image to see a detail of the front.
