DyAnne DiSalvo is a good friend of mine. She is an author and illustrator of children's books. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY and all of her stories talk about community awareness and neighborhoods, and encourages kids to become a part of their community. Most of the images throughout the layout of the site are from her most recent novel called "The Sloppy Copy Slipup" which is about reluctant writers and tells a heartwarming story about Brian Higman that encourages kids to never give up. I really love her illustration style, so i tried to design the site in a way that made her work shine.
This is my first full-length web design project, and I am very happy with the result. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun completing it.
