Welcome to the world of blinkilite!
My name is Lauren Cassie. I graduated from Drexel University in 1998, and since then have been working successfully as a graphic designer.
Back in high school, I was lucky enough to have classes that taught me how to use the computer as an artistic tool. By using the computer, coupled with photography and illustration, I found the world of graphic design. I have a strange love for all things that are typically nerdy, like sci-fi movies and comic books and japanese pop culture. As I got older I noticed these items starting to emerge in my work, as I developed this sort of surrealistic cartoon-ish style. I am still working on the side to learn new mediums and explore my random ideas in different ways.
I have a very strong print-based background. I am currently striving to teach myself the web-based technology. I enjoy working on the web, and I hope to do more of it in the future.
